"Qiusuo" 4.0 Released: AI Evaluation Extends from Model Scores to Industry Tasks

Chinese

According to a CCTV News report, “Qiusuo” 4.0 was released on October 13. The system has four major sections—foundational software and hardware, models and intelligent systems, security governance, and industry implementation—and includes 16 evaluation tools, covering fields such as computing power, large models, agents, embodied intelligence, and industry scenarios.

The same model, paired with a different chip, software environment, or business task, may perform differently in practice. When enterprises choose an AI system, the question they need to answer is not only “how many points did the model score,” but also whether the entire system can adapt to their own work.

Putting business workloads into the tests

The report explains that the system provides a unified testing process and evaluation yardstick, along with business test workloads for industries such as power, healthcare, and steel, to help compare system performance across different environments.

A relevant official said that lightweight code tools for computing power, large models, agents, and other areas are open-sourced, making it easier to reproduce evaluations and carry out hardware-software collaborative verification. The specific ways to obtain the tools, their scope of application, and reproduction results still need to be checked item by item against project materials.

AIYXL observation: Unified evaluation can help enterprises narrow down their options. Once they enter the procurement or deployment stage, they should also use their own representative tasks to check accuracy, response time, operating cost, and exception handling. The release of “Qiusuo” 4.0 also does not mean that all related tests have become new mandatory compliance requirements.
