The National Data Annotation Pilot Jiangsu-Anhui City Alliance was established in Nanjing, and 10 cities in the Yangtze River Delta will jointly develop the data annotation industry. This cooperation provides an organizational foundation for connecting dispersed industry resources, and its subsequent effectiveness will depend on joint projects and delivery capabilities.

The data required by artificial intelligence must be organized, classified, and annotated before it can be better used for training and evaluation. Around this foundational work, cities in Jiangsu and Anhui have begun to strengthen collaboration.

On October 20, the National Data Annotation Pilot Jiangsu-Anhui City Alliance was established in Nanjing, also known as the Yangtze River Delta Data Annotation Joint Innovation Center. Ten cities in the Yangtze River Delta, including Nanjing and Wuhu, participated, promoting the coordinated development of the regional data annotation industry.

For AI application companies, whether annotations are usable often shows in specific details: whether the same type of defect can be judged consistently, whether data processed by different teams can be merged, and whether delivery quality can be reliably reviewed. When industry resources are distributed across different regions, these requirements also need to cross organizational boundaries.

AIYXL believes that what is noteworthy about this alliance is that it establishes a channel for sustained collaboration among dispersed industry resources. If it can further connect industry demand, professionals, and quality management capabilities, it will help form a more stable data supply.

At present, the clearly implemented outcome is the establishment of the alliance. The extent to which unified standards, shared resources, and collaborative delivery can be achieved still needs to be demonstrated through subsequent projects.

Next, what will be more convincing than the number of members will be which data tasks have been completed jointly, which applications have been served, and whether the delivered results can withstand scrutiny.
