ChatDOC Sample Key Fact Source Verification

中文

This record documents the editorial verification of key fact sources for the ChatDOC sample from the AI draft to the final content; it is not a case commissioned by ChatDOC or TP-Link.

Scope and Sources of Verification

Subject: the process in which ChatDOC processes an English product manual and generates five sets of Chinese FAQs, not a performance test of Tapo hardware.

S1: TP-Link official Tapo P110/TP11 User Guide, cover ©2026, document number 1910013561, REV1.1.0, 16 pages in total in the PDF.

Official source: TP-Link official Tapo P110/TP11 User Guide

S2: the five complete answers provided by the operator for this project on October 13, 2026.

S3: actual interface screenshots provided by the operator, identified by time:

  • 17:40:18: Link import prompted that the domain was not on the whitelist.

  • 17:44:34: After local upload, the cover, 16 pages, and document summary were displayed.

  • 17:52:33: The 10-second instruction in the EU version was highlighted; the operator additionally confirmed that clicking the citation in the answer navigated to it.

EU version location: the original text for the 10-second factory reset was highlighted; combined with the operator's record, this explains the result of this navigation

  • 17:56:36: FR version page, with the Power Button heading highlighted.

FR version location: the 5-second instruction text is the same, but the regional page did not match the EU condition in the question, so the final answer was checked against the EU version separately

  • 17:58:31: FR version page, with the complete 5-second instruction highlighted.

Page numbering rule: in the table below, “Printed page” refers to the page number in the footer of the manual body; “PDF page” refers to the file sequence with the cover counted as page 1. The two differ by 2 pages and must not be used interchangeably.

Verification of Key Facts (10 Items)

No.

Draft or interface observation

Verification basis

Verification result and editorial handling

01 Document identity

The page displays the Tapo P110/TP11 User Guide, 16 pages in total.

S1 cover; S3 upload screenshot.

Consistent. The final draft notes the document version and date to prevent confusion with manuals for other regions or older versions.

02 Initial setup

Download the Tapo App, log in to the TP-Link ID, add the corresponding model, and follow the prompts to set it up.

S1 printed page 7/PDF page 9; S2 item 1.

Core steps are consistent. The final draft summarizes them in Chinese; there is no need to guess OCR characters for graphical buttons.

03 EU version 5-second operation

Retains existing settings, but does not retain Wi-Fi settings.

S1 printed page 3/PDF page 5; S2 item 2.

Semantically consistent. The delivered wording is “reset Wi-Fi settings and retain other existing settings,” which is not to be confused with factory reset.

04 EU version 10-second operation

Restores the smart plug to factory default settings.

S1 printed page 3/PDF page 5; S2 item 2.

Consistent. The EU version is explicitly specified, and the numbers and applicable conditions are retained.

05 EU version solid green light

Connected to the server and operating normally.

S1 printed page 3/PDF page 5; S2 item 3.

Consistent. This must not be diluted to merely “connected to Wi-Fi.”

06 Voice assistants

Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

S1 printed page 2/PDF page 4; S2 item 4.

Consistent. Only assistants explicitly mentioned in the manual are listed; compatibility with other platforms is not inferred.

07 Warranty period

Not stated in this manual.

Full-text review of S1; S2 item 5.

Retained. This conclusion applies only to this manual and cannot be inferred to mean the product has no warranty; consult the terms for the applicable region if needed.

08 Locating the 10-second original text

After clicking the citation in the answer, it jumped to the EU version and highlighted the 10-second instruction.

S3 screenshot at 17:52:33 and operator confirmation; S1 printed page 3/PDF page 5.

This item is supported by the screenshot and operation description. It can demonstrate one successful location, but is not generalized to mean all citations are accurate.

09 Locating the 5-second original text

The complete 5-second sentence was highlighted, but the page was the FR Version.

S3 screenshot at 17:58:31; FR corresponds to S1 printed page 4/PDF page 6. Compared separately with the EU original text.

The text is the same, but the version did not match. The final FAQ cites the EU page; the display image retains the FR heading and explains the boundary of the location. It cannot be determined whether the underlying process is citation matching or retrieval, so no assertion is made about the mechanism.

10 PDF and link explanation

The beginning of the answer states that it cannot confirm the complete PDF or click the link accurately; earlier, URL import was also restricted by the whitelist.

Beginning of S2; S3 screenshots at 17:40:18 and 17:44:34; plus the operation record for item 08.

Distinguish two matters: link import was restricted, while local upload was completed; the model's self-description is not used as the basis for judging interface functionality. The final draft describes based on actual observation.

Three Editorial Steps from Draft to Final

  1. Compare the English manual with the Chinese Q&A item by item, retaining key numbers such as 5 seconds/10 seconds and regional conditions.

  2. Add consistent source numbers, printed page numbers, and PDF page numbers to the answers; for the FR location result, check back against the EU original text.

  3. Separate “not stated” from “no such policy,” and remove unsupported inferences about accuracy, efficiency, and commercial results.
